Flower Pressing 102: Design & Composition

Build on your skills and learn how to design with pressed flowers while creating a finished botanical piece. In this intermediate class, you'll explore layout techniques, composition, and how to work with dried botanicals to create balanced, intentional artwork. Each student will create a finished piece — a card, bookmark, or small artwork — to take home.

Recommended for those who have taken Flower Pressing 101 or have basic experience. Duration: 1.5–2 hours. Tickets: $75.

Meet the Artist

After more than two decades creating memorable events, I discovered a new creative path through the timeless art of pressing flowers. What began as a personal creative outlet has grown into Mon Petit Chou Paper Co. a collection of botanical paper goods and artwork designed to help people celebrate life's everyday moments.

Every piece begins with real flowers, carefully preserved and thoughtfully arranged by hand in my Columbia, South Carolina studio.

Petals Are Our Palette

Each design starts with real flowers not paint or watercolor. Every bloom is carefully pressed, preserved, and individually placed by hand to create original botanical artwork before being professionally reproduced on stationery, art prints, and gifts.

It's a slow, thoughtful process that captures the beauty of nature in a way that can be enjoyed every day.
